PSG deny Kylian Mbappé crisis and refuse to consider future move

According to Le Parisien Paris Saint-Germain are in denial about Kylian Mbappé’s wish to leave the club, as those close to president Nasser Al-Khelaïfi say that “all these rumours are tiring” and “the team, still unbeaten, remains united”.

Earlier today Le Parisien confirmed reports from RMC Sport that Kylian Mbappé wants to leave Paris Saint-Germain in January, with the forward said to be feeling “betrayed” by the club’s upper management.

He is said to feel betrayed by club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi and the Qatari ownership, as well as Antero Henrique, who was brought back into the fold this summer to manage the club’s transfer negotiations.

According to France Bleu Mbappé reportedly told those close to him: “We made a mistake, me first and foremost.” Despite intense interest from Real Madrid, Mbappé made the decision to remain at Parc des Princes this summer. He could have joined the European champions on a free transfer, with just over a month remaining on his contract by the time he decided to renew.
