WWE Youtube Clip Has More Views Than Show It Came From

Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer is reporting that the clip of Enzo Amore debuting on 205 Live! that the WWE posted on Youtube is now over a million views, much more than the episode of 205 Live! does on the WWE network.
Amore was moved to the cruiserweight themed show after his feud with Big Cass abruptly ended with Cass blowing out his knee last Monday night, requiring surgery and a long term lay off. Enzo has been the subject of a lot of rumors lately about heat on him backstage for his attitude and some of his actions. This is supposedly why Enzo and Cass were broken up as a team.
Regardless of what brought the move about, it seems to have paid off at least in this aspect. 205 Live!’s views on the WWE Network have been lagging with reports saying that its recent lackluster numbers leading to the delay and possible cancellation of an English branded show for the Network that was promised at the beginning of the year. Combine that with the company trying to cut expenses has led to a number of WWE Network shows getting canceled in recent weeks.

Interestingly, The Enzo clip is only the fourth most viewed WWE clip on Youtube this week. Meltzer also reports that the other clips doing more views are the Lesnar-Strowman angle from RAW with 4 million views, John Cena’s segment from RAW with 2 million and Bobby Roode’s debut on Smackdown with 1 million.
