WWE UK Show Reportedly Not Dead Yet

The Wrestling Observer made a recent report that the planned WWE UK Show may not be dead and may make it on the air before the year is out.
Back in January when the WWE put together the UK Title tournament, it was then announced that much of the talent that participated in the tournament would be used for a future United Kingdom based show to debut in the future. Those plans were seemingly put aside until after Wrestlemania, but things never really materialized. 2 days worth of matches were taped for a special in May, but only one of those days was actually used. Meanwhile, only a handful of those from the tournament have been used on TV on the NXT program in the meantime.
There was rumor around the time of the specials that were filmed that the WWE may just make the UK show a series of quarterly specials, but again that never materialized. The low viewership of the 205 Live! show and the company implementing cost cutting measures, along with just the difficulty of getting a WWE TV crew to England and back, have really hampered going forward with a weekly show in the vein of NXT.

Another point to be made is that it was reported at the time of the UK Championship tournament that the UK Talent contracts were only for a single year. As said, only a small fraction of the talent used has had any TV time since then. So if the WWE still plans on using the UK talent, they may have to resign many of those that were used.
