Tyler Breeze Returns to NXT, Open Challenge on Raw, New Cena Show

Tyler Breeze and Fandango have certainly proven to be an entertaining tag team on Raw and Smackdown, but it is easy to forget just how impressive Breeze can be in the ring. Tyler was absolutely beloved during his time in NXT as fans could not get enough of the young wrestler’s character or his matches. Just one night after The Revival made a shocking appearance during an NXT live event, Breeze has just done the same. During last night’s NXT live event in Jacksonville, Florida, Breeze returned and competed in a match against Marcel Barthel. Breeze picked up the win before giving a short speech to the crowd about how much he still admires NXT and has respect for everybody on the roster.

Main Event – @MmmGorgeous pinned @Marcel_B_WWE. Nice to see Marcel be allowed to work more than seven minutes. He’s a stud who went toe-to-toe with a @wwe superstar. #NXTJacksonville pic.twitter.com/gVDZxqRwxT

Seth Rollins has been absolutely on fire ever since he won the Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania 34. Much like when John Cena won the US Championship a few years ago, Rollins has been validating himself as a fighting champion by putting his title on the line in open challenges on Raw every week. Rollins has defeated Mojo Rawley and Kevin Owens in recent weeks, but it looks like the open challenges will not be stopping any time soon. A recent article posted on WWE’s official website has just indicated that there will likely be another open challenge on Raw this week, as well as on a few more shows after that. Rollins may be issuing open challenges every week until someone is finally able to defeat him for his title.
John Cena’s days as a full time competitor in WWE are likely behind him now, but that does not mean that the 16-time world champion isn’t keeping himself busy. Earlier this week, a trailer for Cena’s latest project was finally unveiled. The official trailer for the first season of the Dallas & Robo animated series, which features Cena playing the robot accomplice to Kat Dennings’ human trucker character, has just been uploaded. The series promises to feature plenty of comedic hijinks, voice cameos, and some strange and interesting intergalactic adventures. All of the first season episodes will be debuting exclusively on WWE’s YouTube channel on May 30th.
