In September, Andy Bisek became the first U.S. Greco-Roman wrestler since 2009 to win a medal at the World Championships. Bisek, a native of Chaska, Minnesota, claimed the bronze medal at 75 kilos with a technical fall victory over Hiroyuki Shimizu of Japan. His World bronze-medal performance capped a season in which he won gold medals at five international tournaments.
