In a bizarre incident, a woman in Bhopal moved to the local family court seeking divorce on the grounds that her husband is preparing for UPSC examination and he doesn’t give her time. The woman has also alleged that her husband spends his entire day preparing for the exam. 

The family resides in Katara Hills area of the city. According to her counsellor, the woman has alleged that her husband remains so lost in his studies that he doesn’t speak to her at all. The wife told the counsellor that on some occasions she insisted him to go out with her for movies and shopping but her husband doesn’t go out.

She said he doesn’t even visit his relatives and remains dedicated only to his preparation. These were reportedly the points on which she wanted to seek divorce from her husband. After hearing her, her counsellor called her husband for counselling. 

He told her that he does not have any complaint against his wife. He said cracking UPSC exam was his childhood dream and that is why he dedicated maximum time to his preparations.

He also told the counsellor that he feels his marital life is unstable and he does not want it to get more complicated. After hearing both sides, the counsellor asked them to take some more time and reconsider their decision.
