Lens have announced that Danish midfielder Patrick Olsen has joined Swiss team Grasshopper Zurich for what is rumoured to be a free transfer.

The 22-year-old joins the Swiss club on a three-year-deal and will join up with the club immediately after spending two years with French club Lens.

Olsen may only be 22 but has already played for some rather large clubs including Brondby, Stromsgodset and Inter Milan, where he spent three years before being released after making only one appearance for the first team.

Olsen made 26 appearances for RC Lens and scored four goals in the process, but he will be looking for a better return at Grasshoppers.
