Middlesbrough have agreed a deal for Jése, but…

Middlesbrough have concluded an agreement with PSG for the loan signing of Spanish attacking midfielder Jesé until the end of the current campaign, according to L’Équipe.

However, the player wants to go to Las Palmas instead, and is currently refusing to complete a move with the Premier League side, despite Middlesbrough manager Aitor Karanka’s daily attempts to get through to the Spaniard by phone.

Las Palmas in the meantime are still yet to reach a salary agreement with PSG in order to have a loan bid accepted so that they can make their dream and Jesé’s dream a reality.

A deal that is likely to go down to the wire, if Jesé ends up at Middlesbrough, it will not be because he particularly wants to.
