Julian Palmieri is in advanced negotiations to join SM Caen, according to France Football.

The left-sided 30-year-old has been informed that Marcelo Bielsa has now plans for him in the 2017/18 Lille project and the former SC Bastia man has since been seeking a new club.

Only a few details remain for the deal to be completed.
