Thomas Tuchel will sign a new contract with PSG until 2021

Téléfoot report this morning that an agreement has been reached between PSG and manager Thomas Tuchel which will see the German sign a contract extension until 2021.

Talks to extend had already begun before the pair of fixtures against Manchester United and from a details perspective is now virtually a done deal.

The extension includes a wage increase for the former Dortmund manager, who has also recently been contacted by Bayern Munich and informed the Bavarian outfit that he was staying in Paris.

The new deal should be made official in a matter of days and from that point onwards PSG will work on two summer signings: a defensive midfielder and a central defender, whilst respecting Financial Fair Play regulations.

Tuchel’s current deal expires in 2020.
