L’Équipe report that 19-year-old Strasbourg right-back Mohamed Simakan has been the subject of initial approaches from Valencia and AS Roma, after a blistering start to the Ligue 1 season.
The teenager can play as a right-back or more centrally and spent his youth career at Marseille before not being offered a professional contract by the Mediterranean side.
He signed his 1st professional deal with Strasbourg in the summer of 2018, with his current contract having two more years to run.
His integration into Ligue 1 life was delayed last season after he suffered a serious knee injury.
