Logan Paul, a vlogger who recently made headlines for posting a controversial video, has subsequently issued two public apologies on Twitter. The video in question featured Paul encountering a dead body in Japan’s Aokigahara forest, and the death appeared to have been via suicide. Paul was also seen and heard in the video laughing and making jokes upon encountering the body, which drew tons of public backlash, prompting Paul to issue two separate apologies, which you can read below.
As seen in the following Tweet, NJPW star Kenny Omega has responded to Logan’s apology, and echoed the sentiment felt by many upon learning of Paul’s initial apologetic Tweet:
Anything you say or do comes off as completely disingenuous. You abuse your internet celebrity and inspire people to be as rotten as you. But hey, if you make a buck, who cares, right? Please remember you’re not even close to untouchable and karma is a bitch.
