WWE star Woken Matt Hardy, who had a very public and messy split from Impact Wrestling, recently ran into Anthem Sports and Entertainment’s Ed Nordholm as seen in the photo below.

It’s worth noting that the appearance does not appear to be work related, rather Hardy and Nordholm were traveling for WWE and Impact Wrestling, respectively, and coincidentally ran into each other.

The split between Impact Wrestling and The Hardy Boyz was tumultuous, stemming from Impact reportedly offering Matt Hardy a lowball money deal to re-sign with the company, which resulted in The Hardys leaving and signing with ROH and then shortly after, WWE. The situation grew worse when Ed Nordholm and Anthem Sports and Entertainment, the parent company of Impact Wrestling, would not allow The Hardys to use the “Broken Universe” gimmick outside of Impact, which included Ring of Honor and WWE.

As we previously noted, Impact Wrestling has since restructured talent deals to allow their stars to use gimmicks created in Impact Wrestling in other promotions outside of the company.
