WWE recently posted a countdown of Batista’s nastiest beatdowns.

The former World champion returned to WWE on the February 25 edition of Monday Night Raw. The Animal crashed Ric Flair’s 70th birthday celebration at the end of the program, leaving The Nature Boy for dead in the backstage area.

Batista’s last WWE run came in 2013/2104, when he came back to challenge for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 30. That run later led to a full heel turn, with Batista rejoining Triple H, Flair and Randy Orton as Evolution.

The truth is that last run was considered a disappointment by many that felt Batista’s return couldn’t have come at a worse time. The Animal was dealing with intense fan criticism and in the end, he could not overcome the tremendous wave of popularity that Daniel Bryan was enjoying at the time. Nothing seemed to fit for him and he left on a whimper.

But this latest return looks extremely promising and Batista is definitely in his element as the vicious heel. Batista is probably on his way to WrestleMania once again, this time in a match against Triple H.
