— Big Show was unhappy with how he was portrayed on last week’s episode of Raw because WWE had done so much to rebuild his character in an attempt to make him special again, but felt being knocked out of the ring twice in the show by John Cena and Batista was one time too many. Although, it did take two guys on both occasions to knock him out of the ring.

— Finlay suffered a legitimate eye injury, a scratched cornea, during the pre-tape segment breaking up the fight between Christian and Finlay on last week’s episode of ECW. Since the episode was live, they didn’t come up with a storyline cover and went with the truth.

— The thought process behind the weekly television tapings is for Raw to be the skit-centered show, while ECW will have one non-wrestling segment at most per episode, and Smackdown will be done mostly in front of the people and with limited pre-taped backstage segments.
