John Cena is currently off of WWE programming while he films his FOX series, and it sounds like more time off from WWE could be in his future after he wraps up with FOX

Cena isn’t advertised for any WWE events until some in late December on WWE’s Holiday tour. Cena is advertised for some SmackDown events in January, but those are subject to change and Cena does begin filming on another project early next year.

Cena plays one of the leads in a comedy film titled The Pact. The synopsis describes the movie as being about “three parents who, upon discovering that their daughters have made a pact to lose their virginities on prom night, go out and try and stop them before it’s too late.”
