It looks like the door is open for a full-time return to WWE for Mickie James.

Ryan Satin of ProWrestlingSheet.com was first to report the news on Monday that Mickie James has been offered a new contract to return to the company.

James has reportedly kept in contact with WWE since her match with NXT Women’s Champion Asuka at the NXT TakeOver: Toronto special in November and has been made aware of the opportunity to return, should she choose to do so.

There is no word regarding James’ interest, whether the deal calls for her to work in NXT, RAW or SmackDown LIVE. We will keep you posted.
