As noted, Eddie Edwards was rushed to the emergency room following a bad accident with a baseball bat during an angle at Saturday night’s Impact Wrestling television tapings in Orlando, Florida.
Edwards was struck by a baseball bat by Sami Callihan and there was apparently a lot of blood shed, as well as concerns that he might be in danger of losing his eye as a result of the accident.
In an update, Jason Powell of ProWrestling.net is reporting that Edwards suffered a broken nose, a broken facial bone and several bad lacerations as a result of the incident. Doctors are reportedly under the impression that he did not suffer a concussion.
Edwards addressed his injuries in the following tweet posted on Sunday afternoon.
Thanks to everyone checkin in. Im good, couple broken bones couple cuts and a sweet black eye. Somedays youre the bat, somedays youre my eye
