— To really no one’s surprise, WWE will be doing away with both the men’s Andre the Giant Memorial and women’s battle royal at this year’s WrestleMania 36 that takes place on April 4 and 5. Pro Wrestling Sheet cites multiple sources who note that both these matches have been pulled from the card as WWE tries to comply with CDC and WHO guidelines of social distancing and to “flatten the curve.” Both battle royals had become staples of WrestleMania but obviously that sort of match with so many talent in the ring at once would be a clear violation of the health protocols that authorities have set in place.
