FARGO, N.D. – The North Dakota State wrestling program capped the early signing period by securing its third nationally ranked recruit, adding Mark Voss of St. Michael-Albertville (Minn.) High School.

Voss joins Nazar Mironenko of Mifflinburg Area High School in Pennsylvania and Christian Stackhouse of Riverside High School in New Jersey as student-athletes who have signed National Letters of Intent to continue their education and wrestle at North Dakota State University in the fall of 2014.

Voss is a three-time all-state performer for St. Michael-Albertville HS, placing fifth at the Minnesota Class AAA state championships as a freshman at 119 pounds and taking runner-up honors as a sophomore and junior at 132 pounds. He owns a record of 85-16 over the past two seasons.

Voss earned a fourth-place finish in 132-pound cadet freestyle at the 2013 FILA Nationals. He placed sixth at the 2013 USA Wrestling Junior Folkstyle Nationals at the same weight. Voss has been ranked as one of the nation’s top 20 seniors at 132 pounds by Wrestling USA.
