After he appearance at the Royal Rumble, t was recently confirmed by ESPN that Ronda Rousey signed a deal to work with WWE. However, PWInsider took part in a recent media call from WWE, and several details regarding Rousey’s signing were revealed. First and foremost, Triple H confirmed that the deal is still being finalized at the moment. He also claimed that Rousey will be signing a multi-year deal with the company, and that the company will have a “first look” on everything that she does. Rousey is currently in Colombia finishing up her work on the upcoming Mile 22 film. Once filming wraps up, the belief is that Rousey’s first priority will be WWE going forward.

Tye Dillinger has been appropriately scheduled to enter the men’s Royal Rumble match as entrant number 10, but he was beaten down backstage and had his spot stolen by Sami Zayn. Since then, Dillinger has not been seen on WWE television at all. As far as why WWE does not feature Dillinger on television more often, Dave Meltzer claimed on a recent edition of Wrestling Observer Radio that the company is keeping him off of shows due to the popularity of the “10” chant. The company reportedly hates when the crowd uses the chant for several shows. “Dillinger is just a guy on the brand that works prelims and they put him at number 10 and it makes for a cute minute for people to chant 10, which they don’t even want people to chant anyway. That’s why they keep him off TV so much because they don’t want people chanting 10.” Meltzer said. For what it’s worth, it was also recently reported that WWE ordered ring announcers to not allow fans to do the “one fall” chant during ring introductions because they similarly dislike the chant.
