Now that Maroon 5 has survived their controversial Super Bowl 2019 halftime show, let’s take a look back at some highlights from the performance.
With a set list that boasted the band’s biggest hits like “She Will Be Loved,”Girls Like You,” and “Moves Like Jagger,” Maroon 5 delivered a safe mashup alongside the likes of Travis Scott and Big Boi. With electric guitar interludes and burning flames in the distance, see how Maroon 5’s halftime show fares against halftime performers of the past like the memorable Janet Jackson, Lady Gaga, Beyonce and Bruno Mars.
The legendary Gladys Knight sang the anthem while Chloe x Halle belted “America The Beautiful” prior to the show and game kickoff. After Maroon 5’s performance, the New England Patriots ended up defeating the Los Angeles Rams 13-3, earning them yet another Super Bowl championship win to their record.
