ORLANDO, FL — The Easter Bunny may not be as fluffy and sweet as the holiday hype has led us to believe.

Video posted to social media shows a costumed Easter Bunny hopping in to break up a fight in downtown Orlando on Easter Sunday.

“In reference to the fight involving the person dressed as a bunny, the officer on scene broke up the incident and dispersed the parties involved,” explained Sgt. David Baker of the Orlando Police Department.

Baker told Patch the incident occurred around 10:30 p.m. near the intersection of Orange Avenue and Pine Street in downtown Orlando.

“No injuries were reported and no parties expressed a desire to press charges,” he said. “The details of the dispute causing the fight are unknown.”

The video shows a man and woman exchanging blows when a person in the all-white bunny costume hops in to break up the fight as bystanders howl in laughter.

The bunny threw some cartoon-like punches and even did a little dance before offering a chest bump to one of the bystanders.

“The identity of the person in the bunny costume is unknown,” added Baker of the Orlando Police Department.
