In the wake of rising rape cases against minors across the country, another shocking incident has come to light.

A rape survivor and her family are facing social boycott in Rajasthan’s Chittorgarh by the village panchayat after the girl refused to change her statement against the accused.

According to a report by ANI, the village panchayat passed a diktat as per which the family was denied support and grocery from the village. As a punishment, the village panchayat also fined the family Rs 11,000.
