Travancore Devaswom Board Finally Accepts Demand To Allow Women Into Sabarimala Temple

The Travancore Desam Board, which manages the Sabarimala Temple, today told the Supreme Court that it has decided to respect the apex court’s verdict lifting ban on the entry of women to the shrine in Kerala.

Making a sharp U-turn, the board said that it supports entry of women of all ages into the hill shrine.

The five-judge bench headed by chief justice of India, Ranjan Gogoi, is hearing petitions seeking review of it September 28, 2018 judgement. The bench also comprises Justices RF Nariman, Indu Malhotra, DY Chandrachud and M Khanwilkar.Click Here: All Blacks Rugby Jersey
