The acute water crisis in his locality had forced a Bengaluru man to sleep outside the office of Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) in RH Halli. Srinivas M adopted this way after official apathy and water shortage in his locality left no other way except for staging protest.

“There are 60 houses on this road. I have been requesting for a water connection for the last ten months, but they kept saying it will happen in a day or two,” Srinivas said.
