The AW10 fashion season saw the debut of Stitch’s very first edition. Especially dedicated to directional menswear, the fashion fair attracted a wide variety of visitors, including buyers from El Corte Inges, Bank, American Pie, Topman, Coggles, and Ran. Stitch offered a selection of menswear and accessories in a blend of house names, niche labels, designers and new brands to the UK such as Gabicci Vintage, Nicholas Deakins, and Fenchurch. On the first day visitors enjoyed an upbeat atmosphere and professional environment.
On the first day the fair had a positive feel to it and visitors seemed impressed with the flow of quality buyers and retailers including Asos and Bank. The following day, attendees had the opportunity to take part in a Power of Celebrity Endorsement discussion, hear about the ins and outs on blogging, and insight into AW10’s key trends as part of Stitch’s Seminar Programme.
Stitch’s Managing Director Brian Duffy commented: “We always wanted the show to be a serious order-writing event and feedback is already indicating that this is exactly what it is.”
For those who were unable to pay Stitch a visit in the flesh, the fair offers a selection of the brands showing on Facebook. Stitch announced its SS11 dates and the addition of a 3rd day. The next show will take place from 30th June – 2nd July 2010.
