For the past three years, a daily wager has been going through a bizarre battle with… Wait for it…CROWS!
It all started when the man named Shiva Kewat tried to help a crow chick that was stuck in an iron barb, during the rescue the chick died in his hands. And that’s about it – from that point on, a murder (group) of crows have had their eyes on him and have made his life a living hell for the past three years.

“It died in my hands. If only I could explain it to them, I was only trying to help,” a troubled Kewat told TOI while looking up at the skies and ducking in fear of another crow landing and clawing at him.
The revengeful crows were not attacking anyone else and have identified Kewat as their sworn enemy. Each and every time Kewat steps out, there’s a sudden, sly and vicious attack by either a bunch or a lone crow. In fact, it has happened so many times, that Kewat complains of multiple injuries on his head.

This ‘bizarre crow attack’ tale came about when a freelance journalist in Madhya Pradesh heard of it and pursued the story, reports TOI.
According to the report, the journalist named Ranjit Gupta couldn’t believe what he heard and was curious about Kewat’s struggles.
TOI quoted a stunned Gupta as saying, “This is the first time I have heard of vengeful crows attacking one single man. There’s a video showing him fending off the attack.”
According to Professor Ashok Kumar Munjal from the Barkatullah University in Bhopal, crows are known to remember people who have wronged them. They are also known to plot sinister things with other crows and launch vicious attacks.
To be honest, we feels bad for the man. After all, he was only trying to help.
