According to our colleagues at RMC, Karim Benzema and Mathieu Valbuena are scheduled to meet with each other in the coming days for reconciliatory talks after the former was found to be embroiled in the alleged blackmail of the latter.

The judge today announced the partial lifting of the court supervision order that Karim Benzema is currently subjected to, an alternation which allows the Real Madrid man to enter into contact with Mathieu Valbuena again.

The aim is to hold a meeting between the two players before March 4th, which is the date set for the appeal of the partial lifting of the court supervision order that was requested by the prosecution this morning.

The French Football Federation and notably FFF President Noël Le Graët want to organise a meeting between the two in order to discuss the potential return of Karim Benzema to the French national team and Benzema’s hearing in front of the FFF disciplinary panel.

Benzema at the Euros? Moves are certainly being made behind closed doors…
