Speaking to L’Équipe, Marseille striker Steven Fletcher admitted that his future past the end of this season remained uncertain.

“Marseille and Sunderland have not offered me anything for the moment. We will see what options I have, if I have any. Some players assure me that being free is a good position to be in, but those who say that often have a three year contract somewhere! To be free is a bit annoying.”
