Recently, the Beijing Aerospace Propulsion Institute of the Sixth Academy of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation won the bid for the plant-wide detachable elevated torch system for the fine chemical and raw material engineering project of the super-large petrochemical project built by North Huajin United Petrochemical Co., Ltd.
The total investment of the Northern Huajin Fine Chemicals and Raw Materials Engineering Project is 83.7 billion yuan. It is a major cooperation project between China and Saudi Arabia under the "Belt and Road" initiative. The project mainly constructs 32 sets of process equipment, including 15 million tons/year of refining and 1.65 million tons/year of ethylene. After the implementation of the project, it will drive the construction of a number of upstream and downstream industrial chain supporting projects, forming a trend of industrial agglomeration and development featuring high-end polyolefins, new materials and new energy.
Winning the bid for this project will effectively enhance the performance advantage of Beijing Aerospace Propulsion Institute's torch products in the petrochemical industry and international markets. At the same time, this torch system is also the highest-level torch system with the largest processing capacity and equipment specifications of Beijing Aerospace Propulsion Institute. Its completion and commissioning will further enhance the torch technology level and research and development capabilities of Beijing Aerospace Propulsion Institute.
