The LFP confirmed last night that SC Bastia’s match vs Lyon has been handed as an automatic 3-0 win to the latter side following violence from Corsican ultras that caused their recent attempted Ligue 1 match to be called off at half-time.

The Corsican side have also been forced to play the next three home games on neutral ground behind closed doors, but have escaped a points reduction penalty.

SC Bastia have come out of this situation rather well, with three matches left to go and in last place in the Ligue 1 table, but two points behind 17th.
