In a recent social media post from the Board for Control of Cricket in India on Twitter, the duo and the coaching staff headed by Rahul Dravid were pictured during a training session, donning the new training kit with the new sponsor, Adidas.

Earlier this week, The Indian Express had reported that the first batch of players part of the Indian squad for the WTC Final left for England on May 23. Also among the first batch of players was Axar Patel.

R Ashwin didn’t travel with the first batch. The off-spinner along with left-arm seamer Jaydev Unadkat will be travelling later in the day. Virat Kohli and pacer Mohammed Siraj are expected to leave for London on May 24, it is learnt.

Kohli and Siraj played for the Royal Challengers Bangalore on Sunday and could not manage to make it to the playoffs in spite of the former captain’s blazing century. This paper understands Kohli will fly with his family early in the morning on May 24.
