Le Parisien reported today that a “top Spanish club” has come in at the last minute for 17-year-old midfielder Yacine Adli, in a development that could scupper the young Frenchman’s proposed move to Arsenal.

The Gunners were confident that they had won the race for PSG’s starlet in mid-week, but a “top Spanish club,” believed to be Real Madrid, has made a big play in recent hours.

Whilst the North London side clearly still lead the race to sign Adli, nothing is yet signed.
