Adama Soumaoro wants to remain at Lille, despite interest from Everton, according to sources contacted by Get French Football News.

Initial reports last night suggested that the Premier League side had opened talks with Lille about an eventual deal.

However, sources tell Get French Football News this afternoon that Soumaoro is not a top target for Everton. If a deal for Yerry Mina (Barcelona) falls through, then Everton will move onto Marcos Rojo of Manchester United.

Everton have however held an interest in Soumaoro for over a year, but we can confirm that at this stage no formal bid has been tabled.
