Ligue 1 side OGC Nice have announced the arrival of 19-year-old attacking midfielder Lucas Da Cunha from Rennes – the deal is understood to have been worth around €1m, for a player who had just 12 months remaining on his existing contract with the Brittany side.

Les Aiglons have sent him straight to satellite club Lausanne in Switzerland, where he will spend the next 12 months on loan.
