Foot Mercato report that Premier League side Brighton have made an enquiry for 22-year-old French central midfielder Jean-Ricner Bellegarde, who is currently plying his trade with Strasbourg in Ligue 1.

In 2020/21, Bellegarde managed 36 appearances in all competitions and is seen as a potential replacement for Yves Bissouma.

Bellegarde is contracted to RCSA until 2023.
