IRELAND WOMEN’S CRUCIAL final Six Nations game against Scotland on Sunday will be screened live by RTÉ.

The fixture was not set to be televised, but the Irish national broadcaster has now confirmed that it will provide full live coverage from 12.45 on Sunday.
Tom Tierney’s side ensured their title hopes remain alive with a 20-0 win away to Wales last weekend, and can seal the Triple Crown with victory against the Scots in Cumbernauld. A Six Nations title is also potentially on the line.
Daire O’Brien will present RTÉ 2′s coverage, with former international Rosie Foley alongside him in studio, while Ryle Nugent and recently retired ex-Ireland captain Fiona Coghlan will be on commentary duties in Broadwood Stadium.
Ireland are currently level on six match points with France at the top of the Six Nations table, although the French lead on account of having a +63 points difference to Ireland’s +43.
France are away to England on Saturday in their own final fixture, while the English themselves still harbour slim hopes of winning the championship. They will begin the weekend on four match points and a points difference of +44.

Should the English beat France by a 19-point margin and Ireland lose to Scotland on Sunday, the world champions would be crowned Six Nations victors for 2015. That seems an outside possibility at this stage, and Ireland will be focusing on ensuring they get their preparations right.
The Niamh Briggs-captained side will know exactly what they require heading into Sunday either way.

Meanwhile, the Ireland U20s have made four changes to their side to face Scotland tomorrow evening [KO 19.30].
Connacht’s Conan O’Donnell starts at tighthead prop, while Alex Thompson is recalled in the second row to partner David O’Connor. That means Josh Murphy reverts to the back row, while Michael Lagan, Jack Dwan and Oisin Heffernan are included on the bench.
Ireland come into their fixture in Netherdale out of contention for the U20 Six Nations title after losing two games.
