As we noted earlier this week, The Sun out of The UK reported that UFC megastar Conor McGregor was in talks to make his WWE in-ring debut at WrestleMania 34. The Sun was fairly confident in their reporting, claiming “this time it looks like a deal is going to be locked into place” between McGregor and WWE.

Following The Sun report, however, Dana White spoke with FOX 5 NY, and the UFC President revealed a conversation he had with WWE Chairman Vince McMahon, during which McMahon claimed no truth to the Conor McGregor WWE rumors.

“It’s not true. It’s absolutely not true,” White said about McGregor to WWE, citing the McMahon conversation. White added, however, that although a deal might not be in place for McGregor to appear at WrestleMania, The Notorious one could appear in WWE “someday but not now.”
