WATCH: Bruce Prichard Calls WWE’s ECW ‘Terrible’, Explains Why Batista vs Big Show in 2006 Did Not Work

As noted, this week’s new episode of “Something Else to Wrestle” with Bruce Prichard was postponed due to “creative differences”, and is now available on WWE Network.

This week’s show discusses WWE’s version of ECW, and in the clip above, Prichard is asked to defend Big Show vs Batista, which took place at a WWE ECW event back in 2006 at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City:

“I can’t defend anything ECW”, said Prichard. “It was terrible. And I think this is another example of it. You know, it was snake bitten, and especially by this point, it wasn’t what they wanted, you know, the ECW that they thought was out there, that passionate, small minority, that was really vocal, it’s not what they wanted. The audience, the WWE audience, they didn’t want it either. So, you’re trying to please two audiences, and try and make it a damn Reese’s Peanut Butter cup…but this was just two WWE guys on an event that was billed as something else.”

You can watch the rest of the clip, including opening thought from Prichard on this week’s new episode in the video player above.

Something Else to Wrestle with @bruceprichard and @HeyHeyItsConrad will be available today on @WWENetwork in its entirety wonderfully packaged by the fine folks in CT. Thanks for being patient!
