The Rock Set to Battle ‘Star Wars’

As we noted moments ago, The Rock announced this week that “Jumanji 2” will be opening on December 13th 2019, and a new report from Variety.com points out the release of the sequel will come just one weekend before the release of “Star Wars: Episode IX”.

The Variety report points out that after coming in second during its premiere weekend to “Star Wars: The Last Jedi,” the first “Jumanji” film accomplished the unusual feat of climbing to No. 1 in its fifth weekend, and remaining at the top for the following three weekends.

The Latest On Ronda Rousey’s WWE Schedule During ‘Suspension’

Ronda Rousey is now 21 days away from returning to WWE TV from her storyline ‘suspension’, and while her TV status between now and then is up in the air, she is still appearing at all advertised WWE live events. According to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Rousey has been added to and removed from, several upcoming WWE TV dates, including the Extreme Rules PPV in July, so it appears as if WWE intends to keep her off TV while she serves out the suspension, but have her work all live events in front of the crowd.
