WWE announced a total of 16,169 fans were in attendance at The Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York City for SummerSlam, making the event a legitimate sellout.

NY Mets Hosting WWE Night

The New York Mets will be holding its first-ever WWE Night at CitiField in Flushing, Queens, NYC, this Wednesday night, and Smackdown Live star Jeff Hardy will be throwing out the first pitch before the game. WWE stars Mickie James and Curt Hawkins will also be appearing at the event for photographs and autograph signings.

Daniel Cormier Takes Shot at Brock Lesnar’s Title Loss

UFC Champion Daniel Cormier, who will next defend his Heavyweight Title against former WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar, Tweeted the following shot a Lesnar after The Beast lost his Title at SummerSlam:

Following the Brock Lesnar Title loss, The Beast is expected to appear on WWE Raw tonight, along with Paul Heyman, so it remains to be seen what the immediate future holds for Brock Lesnar in WWE.
