Last month, “Switchblade” Jay White made a shocking move by defecting from the CHAOS faction that first welcomed him into New Japan Pro Wrestling. But the even more upsetting news was that Gedo, the long-time manager to Kazuchika Okada and faction founder, turned his back on the club as well, opting to side with the young up-and-coming superstar.
At today’s NJPW King of Pro-Wrestling event at Ryugoku Sumo Hall, the two continued to take the wrestling world by surprise, ropping in Gedo’s long-time partner Jado into their madness. The three set a trap for both Hiroshi Tanahashi and Kazuchika Okada, beating down the two living legends with an assist from their brand new friends… the Bullet Club Firing Squad.

Bullet Club has seen an equal amount of derision in the past few months, after Tama Tonga led a group of Tongans and “OG” faction members in a calculated attack on Kenny Omega, Cody Rhodes and the rest of The Elite family.
It would appear that the Firing Squad has been recruiting big time, and have landed some huge, potentially game-changing allies. Not only is the “Switchblade” Jay White considered to be one of the new pillars of the next ere of New Japan Pro Wrestling talent, but now the Bullet Club separatists have the bookers behind the entire company in their corner.
In addition, the Firing Squad has officially announced that Australian independent wrestler Robbie Eagles will be joining the group, partnering with “Bone Soldier” Taiji Ishiimori in this year’s Super Jr. Tag Team Tournament, which kicks off on Oct. 16th.
