It seems like the WWE women’s tag team division has been “just around the corner” for years now, but after reports that the company itself is trying to manufacture hype for an upcoming announcement, a few tweets from Raw Superstars Bayley and Sasha Banks are adding fuel to the never-ending speculation.
Prior to a segment that started as a “open forum” and quickly devolved into a savage behind-the-back attack on Monday Night Raw, the two best friends and long-time rivals both posted identical Tweets, telling fans to use the hashtag “WomensTagTitles” on social media.
Are the long-rumored tag belts finally on their way to WWE’s main roster? Only time will tell, but in a world where nearly everything on Twitter is dictated by the company itself, this seems like a pretty good indication that we’re not far off now. We’ll see you next year at this time where we’ll be saying the exact same thing.
Yeah dude. Use #WomensTagTitles! https://t.co/BfF3gJNLa6
