Nikki Cross on Joining the Main Roster: “NXT Will Always be Nikki’s Home”

The NXT post-show from January 9 included a brief, yet bizarre, interview with Nikki Cross. Fans are surely not surprised by this, as hers is indeed one of the most eccentric and psychologically unstable characters in the industry today.

So when she was cornered backstage and asked if she had worked her last match in NXT, Cross was nearly indecipherable as always. But Nikki did say that NXT will always be her home.

Cross is expected to join either Monday Night Raw or SmackDown Live. She was recently announced among the list of NXT talents to get called up to the main roster. That list includes Heavy Machinery, EC3, Toni Storm and Lars Sullivan.

The fact is that no matter which brand Nikki lands on, she will be joining an established women’s division. Ronda Rousey is currently the Raw Women’s champion and Asuka is the current SmackDown Women’s champion. Both women lead the way on their respective brands and there will surely be room for another contender. Nikki should indeed be a very curious fit.

Things are about to get a little crazier for the main roster.
