Bayley & Banks Crash WWE NXT

As previously reported, WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Bayley and Sasha Banks made a surprise appearance at a recent NXT Live event, observing the action during a triple threat tag team match between six of the black-and-yellow brand’s best up-and-coming names. To the surprise of no one, things quickly turned physical and the Boss & Hug Connection found themselves coming to the aid of the Sky Pirates, Kairi Sane and Io Shirai, which you can check out in the video above.

Earlier today it was announced that New Day members Big E and Xavier Woods would be competing at this Sunday’s WWE Fastlane pay-per-view, taking on Rusev and Shinsuke Nakamura in tag team action. The bout will go down as a part of the Kickoff Show.

Apparently, Woods found out about the match the same way that everyone else in the world did — via WWE’s official Twitter account. To be fair, New Day has been traveling internationally this week, so it’s possible they were just a bit more out-of-the-loop than usual.
