PROGRESS Wrestling co-founder Jim Smallman announced in a video on Friday morning that he will be leaving the promotion after nearly 8 years behind-the-scenes, and behind the microphone as one of the public faces of the British wrestling scene.
His last date will be December 30th at PROGRESS 100, which will be the annual “unboxing” show with no matches or competitors announced ahead of time. Smallman also confirmed that he is currently working for the NXT UK brand as his “day job” and will continue on there going forward.
A video.
Watch it please.
I’ll answer some questions about it at 2pm GMT.

#biya I work for NXT UK, and that's my "day job", so that won't change. Just stepping away from PROGRESS. Keeping myself to just the one job (until I invent another one!) https://t.co/608kkXW8hs
