WWE Superstar Kevin Owens was interviewed backstage following last night’s episode of Smackdown Live, and explained why he didn’t go after the WWE 24/7 Championship when he had the chance.

Last night’s show saw Owens launch a surprise attack on Elias, who at the time held the 24/7 title, in an attempt to gain some revenge after being screwed out of the King of the Ring tournament by the Drifter and his boss, Shane McMahon.

After delivering a “Stone Cold” Stunner, K.O. left the ring – and that’s when all hell broke loose. R-Truth attempted to pin an unconscious Elias, but was pulled out of the ring by Drake Maverick, who pinned him to become the WWE 24/7 Champion for the fifth time.
