Matt Morgan To TNA Update, Dustin Rhodes' Return, Jesse Ward's Firing

— It was reported on Sunday that former WWE star Matt Morgan was set to debut at Sunday’s TNA pay-per-view but he got pulled because his plane was late. However, another source is saying that he was indeed backstage in Orlando, but he was “looking for work.” So well, the report of Morgan debuting in TNA seems to be off the mark obviously.

— Dustin Rhodes made his return to TNA at Sunday’s pay-per-view. He was released from TNA in 2005 after he got into a domestic dispute with his girlfriend and was arrested. He was scheduled to return to WWE last month, but then no-showed the Saturday Night’s Main Event taping and that was the end of that. He also no-showed the Bad News Allen Tribute show over Memorial Day weekend after getting half his guarantee and a plane ticket up front, which upset a lot of people obviously. Sources said he was in pretty bad shape and a few friends said they were very worried about him at the time.

— As reported earlier, TNA released producer Jesse Ward from the company. She was the really tiny girl from Tough Enough 2 who worked for awhile backstage at WWE prior to leaving the company for undisclosed reasons in 2004. She was a hard worker in TNA and everyone liked her, so her departure came as a surprise. The story going around was that she had used the facilities to create a non-TNA-related video (though starring TNA talent), one of which was an unofficial Nine Inch Nails music video and the other of which was something to help announcer Leticia win a contest for Maxim. She was also unafraid to voice her opinions about a number of matters and that rubbed people the wrong way. One person said she was really cool and he found the stories online hard to believe, and figured there must be more to it.
