— The rating for Impact on Thursday night jumped back to normal levels. The show drew a 1.0 cable rating, reports the Wrestling Observer. This figure is up from last week’s year-low 0.87 rating.

— “Black Machismo” Jay Lethal’s wedding proposal to SoCal Val was apparently a play on a similar scenario the World Wrestling Federation did in the summer of 1991 when “Macho Man” Randy Savage asked Miss Elizabeth to marry him.
